Comfort
These verses from the Bible comforted me when I lost Two and Three. I pray they will bring comfort to you too.
When Job had lost his job, his possessions, his health and all his children, he said: The Lord gave, and the Lord has taken away; blessed be the name of the Lord.’
Job 1:20-22

Jeremiah 1:4

1 Samuel 1:11
For You formed my inward parts; You knitted me together in my mother’s womb. I praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are Your works; my souls knows it very well. My frame was hidden from You, when I was being made in secret, intricately woven in the depths of the earth. Your eyes saw my unformed substance; in Your book were written every one of them, the days that were formed for me, when as yet there were none of them. How precious to me are Your thoughts, O God! How vast is the sum of them! If I would count them, they are more than the sand. I awake, and I am still with You.
Psalm 139:13-18
God’s description of the new heavens and earth to Isaiah: No more shall there be in it an infant who lives but a few days, or an old man who does not fill out his days….
Isaiah 65:20
And I will pour out on the house of David and the inhabitants of Jerusalem a spirit of grace and pleas for mercy, so that, when they look on Me, on Him whom they have pierced, they shall mourn for Him, as one mourns for an only child, and weep bitterly over Him, as one weeps over a firstborn.
Zechariah 12:10
Though the fig tree should not blossom, nor fruit be on the vines, the produce of the olive fail and the fields yield no food, the flock be cut off from the fold and there be no herd in the stalls, yet I will rejoice in the Lord; I will take joy in the God of my salvation. God, the Lord, is my strength; He makes my feet like the deer’s; He makes me tread on my high places.
Habakkuk 3:17-19
But the steadfast love of the Lord is from everlasting to everlasting on those who fear Him, and His righteousness to children’s children.

For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.
